MCB Funds in collaboration with SOS Village recently arranged a wonderful activity to celebrate the hard work and efforts of “House Mothers” at the Village. As a part of Mother’s Day celebration, this activity was meant to encourage bonding between employees and the resident children. The day-long event consisted of interactive sessions as well as fun activities such as musical chairs, face painting, magic show, singing competitions and a lot more.

Staff members of MCB Funds volunteered to be part of this activity. Their participation was meant to enable them to have an understanding of life at the village. They also had conversations with the housemothers to find out more about their daily routines with the children. Housemothers shared success stories of mothers who have found a fulfilling purpose in life through their labor of love at SOS Village. Housemothers were appreciated through a cake cutting ceremony and were awarded sashes which proclaimed “Super Mom”.
